Human Rights Watch:

Burma It Can't Wait

30 Days for One Million Voices

Burma in 2008 was an even more dangerous place than it is today. Child soldiers. Starving people. And a wrongfully imprisoned opposition leader, Nobel Peace Prize Winner, Aung San Suu Kyi.

I was one of a dozen or so writers who lent their voices to this viral video campaign from Human Rights Watch, designed to raise awareness for the Burmese plight.

The 30 Days for One Million Voices campaign featured celebrities from across the spectrum and ran on Fanista (with comedy spots appearing on then-white hot Funny or Die).
